My blog is back

I originally deleted my blog, because its contents were being archived by other sites. I may sometimes change my mind about what I want appearing in my blog, and when I decide to delete something, I want it to be gone for good, not still hanging around for anyone to read on some other website. It is a copyright violation for any site to archive the contents of my blog. That goes for both Archive.org and Google. Anyway, what I didn't know when I deleted this blog was that some spammer would swoop in like a vulture and steal my blog URL to use for its own advertising. The spammer in question is a company called Masterbell Phone Cards. They are in the regular practice of stealing abandoned blogs, as this Google search reveals. Since I did not want my blog URL in their hands or in the hands of any other spammer, I contacted Blogger support and reclaimed my URL. My first attempt wasn't successful, because I had voluntarily deleted this blog. But I knew I was in the right, and I followed up by pointing out how the spammer's use of this blog was violating the Terms of Service for blogspot.com. Blogger support then took the blog away from them, and I was able to reregister it in time.
