Amy Ferguson

I saw my cousin Amy Ferguson yesterday, and I met her husband and their young daughter Hannah. I got a picture of myself with Amy and Hannah, which her husband took, but I forgot to set the camera to its no red eye mode, and everyone in the picture has red eye. Oh well. It is a coincidence that my name is Fergus and Amy's last name is Ferguson. She just happened to marry someone with that last name. She is the oldest daughter of my Aunt Sheila, my father's younger sister. Amy's sister Joanna married someone whose last name, Rau, is a homonym for my mother's maiden name, Rowe. So both Amy and Joanna ended up with last names that seem to suggest a closer relation to me than their original last name of Pfister. I suppose it's appropriate, since they also seem to be the cousins who look most like me.
