A new exercise

I invented a new exercise tonight. It's called the Tantrum, because it copies the movements of a violent temper tantrum. It requires a balance ball and either a pair of wrist weights or light dumbbells. To prepare, take off your shoes but leave on your socks, and put a wrist weight on each wrist, or hold a light dumbbell in each hand. Lie on your back with the balance ball at your feet. Place your calves up on the balance ball. You may rest your head on a pillow. I used a back pillow. Start kicking the ball from the top with your heels. Alternate your legs back and forth, and at the same time start swinging your arms up and down in temper tantrum fashion. Accelerate your kicking, and let your arm swinging keep pace. Kick the ball and swing your arms as fast as you can, as though you were throwing a violent temper tantrum. Keep this up for a while and then stop. This exercise is good as a short, high intensity aerobic exercise. Be careful when you do any exercise. If you do this exercise, it is at your own risk. I am not liable for any harmful consequences that come of doing this exercise. Any exercise is probably capable of causing injury to someone under some circumstances. So just practice good judgment and be careful. Yesterday, I ran in place on my mini trampoline, then did abdominal exercises. I neglected to do my Pilates exercises first, and after doing my various crunches, I was too sore for Pilates. So I skipped it. Today, I walked outside while pumping one-pound wrist weights. I then went home and did a lower-body workout.
